Many of our guests
have incorporated a running event into their Pyrenean visit for the
experience of it or as part of their training plan.
If you would like to enter any of the following races/ events
listed below (or any others not mentioned here), we can assist
with race entries and provide logistical support, if required.
Please note that to enter any running event, you must provide a medical certificate, dated within the past three months from your doctor stating that you are fit to compete in such an event. |

Trail des 3 Pics
2nd June 2012- 48km point to point mountain trail race over the 3 peaks of
Paloumère, Cagire and Gar with 3,200m of climbing. Enter as
an individual (€18) or relay team of 3 (€48), including food during and post race meal. The race departs
from Arbas (40km from us) and finishes at St-Pe-d'Ardet (15km
from us). The 2007 winning male time was 7hrs 16mins and the
winning female completed the course in 7hrs 27mins.

La Cremaillere
17th June 2012- Departing Luchon (630m altitude) and finishing at Superbagneres (1,800m altitude), over 5.4km the race includes a vertical kilometre. |

Trail de Neouvieille
July 2012- 35km trail race departing from Saint Lary. |

Trophee de la Barousse
21st July 2012- Road race starting just 800m from us with two distances on offer: 8.5km or 17km. Both routes are hilly and scenic within the Barousse valley. |

Montee du Pla d'Adet
28th July 2012- Departing from Saint Lary, this 11km road race climbs all the way to finish at the ski station of Pla d'Adet at an altitude of 1,680m. The average gradient is 8%. |

Course Des Fiances Mountain Trail Run
4th August 2012- 35km trail race starting in France (Arrens Marsous) and finishing in Spain (Sallent de Gallego). Entry cost is €20.

Trail des Boudinaires
12th August 2012- Trail race starting at Sarp with choice of two distances: 14km or 6km through the Barousse valley. Entry cost is €10 for the 14km and €6 for the 6km distance. |

Ronde des Fleurs
16th August 2012 -
10km road race held during the annual Flower Festival in the
spa town of Luchon. Entry fee is €6. |

La Grand Raid des Pyrenees
22nd to 26th August 2012 -
Two courses are available for individuals: the Ultra Trail 160km or the
Grand Trail 80km. New for 2012 is a 240km Raid for teams of three or four runners. Race entries open 12th January 2012 at 12.12pm.

La Panoramique
26th August 2012 -
Aptly named 18.4km road race starting in Luchon and climbing
1,170m all the way to finish at the ski station of Superbagneres.
Entry fee is €8. |

Foulee du Plateau Lannemezan
October 2012- 17km trail race with a good mix of single track, wooded trails
and forest tracks. Great panoramic views of the Pyrenees mountain
chain. |
