Triathlon - Multi-sport Training in the Pyrenees

There is a good choice of routes, whether on tarmac or off-road straight from the door. Choose from easy, recovery runs to longer and more challenging routes which are great for endurance. Slightly further afield, it is possible to include interval training at an altitude of 1,700m or more on the grassy tracks of the cross country ski station of Nistos.

Because of our location in the quiet Barousse valley, we are ideally situated for guests to incorporate run / bike / run brick sessions safely into their training plan.

All of our run routes allow you the opportunity to explore the unique beauty of the Barousse valley. Running from river level, you pass through the fertile valley floor, before climbing through oak and beech forests to more remote areas. En route, admire the typical Barousse architecture and climb to the top of the tower of the ruined chateau to admire the wonderfully green landscape of the Barousse valley.

We can advise you on suitable routes, tailored to your running ability and training goals.

We can accompany you on off-road trails, taking away the necessity to navigate so that you can concentrate on enjoying your run and being inspired by the scenery. We also offer triathletes the opportunity to run before breakfast. For further information, please visit our running page.
